Tomorrow and, Tomorrow and, Tomorrow by Zevin Gabrielle - 3.5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, which became more rewarding after a slightly slow start. The story examines ambition and the difficulties of balancing personal and professional life. The characters are complex, shaped by their past experiences and struggles, including inequality and the pressures of pursuing a passion. The narrative addresses friendship, romantic tension, and personal growth, with well-placed glimpses into the future that enrich the story without revealing too much. I particularly appreciated how the author shows character development. Sadie and Sam are both flawed individuals in different ways, traits that are evident from their first meeting and drive the story. With strong pacing and thoughtful plot, this book is a satisfying read for anyone who enjoys deep, character-driven storytelling.
